Simply the best!
So worth the wait for my favorite irc client! Everything is stellar, as always. Having a few lines of current chat under each channel name was always a nice feature, but feels even better on the iPad. And universal app? Awesome, guys.

I've used this for awhile now, still crashes about every 30 minutes or so, need the regular irc commands like /ignore etc. Its junk!

Very nice client
I wanted an IRC client for my iPod Touch but hate buying an app untried. My Mac-user friends highly recommended Colloquy; as the iPod uses a Mac OS I gave it a shot, and I'm quite impressed. It supports multiple servers, multiple rooms, PM's and everything else I need in an IRC client. Absolutely a value at $2.

Works wonderfully
This app works great on both my iMac and iPod touch. I have my iMac connected to an IRC network all the time, and the ability to use the bouncer feature on my iPod from anywhere I can get on the net is great. It lets me get around the iPod's inability to keep the program open while on Safari, by using my iMac's transcript to fill me in on what I've missed, and saves me from having to maintain two independent connections to any given channel. The only beef I have is with the lack of an iPad-native version, since the iPhone's keyboard is a bit chunky at 1024x768. With any luck, we'll see an iPad version here soon!
