Can't connect to freenode or support room
I think something went south with Colloquy recently -- it used to work just as promised, but lately (iOS 5? iPhone 4S?) I can't connect to freenode, which is the only network I care about AND the colloquy support room network. Pretty frustrating. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but I was only able to connect once (the first attempt after the fresh install)

Not great
It doesn't go into the background for more than 10 minutes. I'm on AT&T and I can never connect to an freenode's irc network, I just get a bunch of sasl errors. I can however, connect on wifi. This app is good if you want to get on irc, chat, and then disconnect entirely. You can use it to always stay on if you have a "bounce" server. My machine at home is never on, so this is rather pointless. I don't recommend this app at all.

Just ok
It works ok for me. I hate that it automatically sets me away whenever I return to the home screen. Doesn't even let you customize the message (advertises itself in your away message. Not ideal if you don't want people to know you're on a phone)

Heartbreaking! This would be a 5 Star product except…
… support is non-existent. Documentation assumes you're familiar with the source code. Bug tickets languish for months without comment. Nomenclature is vague: Nick, nickname, ident, user, name and username all have different meanings to Colloquy, Adium, ZNC, and the Colloquy plugin for ZNC. …and if you ever hand-off a phone to a family member when you get a shiny new one, they will get your forwarded chats until the end of time because there's no documented way to remove a Colloquy mobile device from a ZNC Colloquy plugin user profile. (The fact that they have a different login doesn't matter). <sigh> …an apparently undocumented tip: If you want changes on the Advanced settings page to stick you have to toggle either the SSL or SASL switches. Change one, then change it back and your password, port and other changes won't silently vanish.
