It looks like this app is no longer maintained. There have been no recent updates or ios7 bug fixes, and the bug tracker on the website has been down for while with a 500 internal server error. Avoid downloading until you see movement.

Can't connect, who knows why?
The error reporting in this app is horrendous. If you cannot connect to a server that is all that it will tell you. No reason listed on why you can't connect, you just can't connect. Not worth the $1.99... Also finding NO support or help forums. It seems as if the developer does not care at all! Sent an email to the support email, not expecting much... DON'T PAY FOR THIS SLIMEWARE

doesn't work anymore..
this hasn't worked for me in the longest time, it works if I'm on wifi maybe 60-70% of the time, however when on verizons LTE it won't connect 100% of the time.

Great app, but could use more
For example, i'd love to see a channel mode window, to see current bans and invites, be able to set modes easier. Also one thing that can be a bit annoying, colors in channel topics continue after the topic "ends" it's usually also colors the "set by nickname." at the end of topics. Other than that it's a nice app.

Ok, confusing to newbies.
I didn't have problems figuring it out but several people I've recommended this program to have struggled to set up a connection without assistance. It works nicely with ZNC / push-aware bouncer on Linux if you compile and load colloquy.so

Simple, elegant
Colloquy is the easiest way to connect to IRC. It is very simple to set up, and it also looks nicer than any other IRC client. I applaud the design of this app, but I am really looking forward to future design changes to match iOS 7. I do have a problem with this app however. I keep getting disconnected in 3 minutes, when I have set the application to stay on for 10. There's nothing I can do about it, it always disconnects in 3 minutes in multitasking. I would also really like it if there were sound effects for each recieved chat message, while on that subject, the sound effects sound old and low quality. It'd be really great to have very clean, smooth, chat sounds.
