Wonderfully Addicting
This is by far the best free game I've downloaded in the past year that I have owned an Ipad. You earn gems by playing in order to buy upgrades, so there is no need to spend any real money. Obciously, if you're more impatient, you can just buy more gems, but the prices are not so ridiculously high that you HAVE to spend real money (how free games should work!). For example, only 2 types of the game (out of 4) are available, and they switch daily, but you can pay more to have all 4 available every day. So you still get all of the features, and spending real money gets you extras. Graphics are smooth and eye-catching, it doesn't crash, you can listen to your own music. Also, you can pause the game and come back to it later, or even the next day, if you wish. Great if you're shooting for those high scores in a long game. The gameplay was simple to pick up, with a good tutorial and clear directions. But, you don't get bored because you're constantly challenged to get the highest score through careful placement. Gets even harder with higher numbers and the black tiles. Plus, there are "x" tiles and random placement of chips by the computer. After playing for a week, two things I would like to see are an undo button we could buy, and the option to play without the computer randomly placing chips. Also, do you give prizes to the top players? If you could, I think it would be helpful to be able to see how many points I have to get in each game to get in the _% for that game option. Ex: You need 15,000 points in the short game to be in the top 10% for short game. I'm very competitive, and it would be an interesting way to track my progress/ compare with other players. Scrolling through pages of 25 players gets very tedious... Amazing game! I love it, and play it practically everyday.
