Great app!
I would have given 5 stars, because I really do like this app.... But I lost some really cool pictures because I assumed it automatically saved the pictures..... Sigh, but I guess it's a good thing it doesn't save 400 pictures every time!

Very limited reason to use this product
Summary: It seems that this app is only useful if your aim is to start and end a project all on the iPhone. For that it's pretty useful since it doesn't automatically save all the frames and has two processing options. If you plan to process on a computer later then I would stay away. I was very happy to find the Burst Mode app until I discovered that it only takes pictures in 640x480 resolution. Also, you can ask it for 24 frames per second (fps) but it seems to always miss a few and it doesn't get to 400 frames, even after a fresh restart - on my iPhone anyway. An iPhone 4 can take video at 30 fps at HD resolution, so there is no intrinsic hardware limitation. I could easily extract 30 fps of 960x540 resolution images from standard iPhone video using iMovie and Quicktime. These aren't just higher numbers, they clearly look better. The are also likely better ways of extraction. So you can easily do faster and with better resolution that this app provides. A slower rate can be achieved by taking video as above and discarding unwanted images. If you want a very slow frame rate (> 2s between frames) then I suggest TimeLapse. This produces a 2592 × 1936 resolution frame (or smaller if you want). The time that the Burst Mode app takes to save the images permanently after taking them is prohibitive and the keystrokes are clumsy. It means that you cannot shoot something else for a while after shooting one thing. Video is much better when there are multiple action sequences going on and you want to catch all of them.
