I thought that this application of so called "beat" was rather bland. I was very unenthused, and hope that the other people writing reviews for this game are either children or unsophisticated fools...

It's fun! Worth the price! :)
This is a great little game! It's like pong meets DDR. The music is great, and the motion of the animation is cute and fun. A nice visual representation of music! Use good headphones to make it more immersive! Kudos to the developers!

Great but...
There seems to be a bug when I try to pause the game. The pause screen becomes all messed up and screwy...

I can't really describe it much further than that. BEAT has a wonderful design and gameplay technique that it simply pulls you in head first wanting and wishing for more. The visuals. Great. The music? Superb. The game overall? A+. Gaijin Games has made something amazingly difficult, wrapped it up into a package that anyone can get in to, then sprinkled rhythm and, fittingly, beat with colorful visuals that can spark your creative juices, wondering just what they might be. I do wish to see more of the series ported to the iPhone, as well as other platforms, but I know that nothing beats a controller, so I won't expect everything. Perhaps VOID to iDevices?
