Worthless
Don't bother. A Dorling-Kindersley disc for 8-year-olds from 1998 would have done it better, with 1,000 times the information.

Verbose propaganda
Memory monster over 1GB filled with climate change propaganda. I would not recommend to family and friends.

I'm Learning So Much
I never knew about many of these things. I love to learn about my planet and its people. This is the best app I have ever downloaded.

No
This app uses so Much memory that it won't even begin to D/L. And judging by the reviews I won't bother. Please don't confuse our children any further and correct this app.

Gripping and fun, if flawed
While I agree with other reviewers that this app could use more info (and, in some places, accurate info), it still gets 5 stars from me, for the sheer joy of navigating the globe. I guess it makes sense that this is for kids, but I honestly didn't even know that earlier today when I spent two hours soaking it all up. I love the interaction, the music, the voice overs. I giggled like a schoolgirl when I first tapped the little camera and was shown a real photo. I know, easy to please. I'm also already a big fan of history and anthropology, so this was a bit of a "kid in a candy store" experience. A treasure chest. I hope the creators will continue to add more, and correct the mistakes that have got folks up in arms. Brilliant app. I hope that by the time I do have kids, this will be rich and accurate and fully developed.
