Great App
This app is great. Easy to use and very helpful in helping identify wildflowers. I can't wait to post some of my pictures on AudubonGuides.com.

Much is left to be desired
Unfortunately, I found this application to be extremely unstable on my 3G. It crashes often without any warning. Besides, one cannot search for a species using its scientific name, rendering the application to be more of a gimmick than a serious tool for plants lovers. In addition, the number of species is small compare with what's available in north America. Just as an example, the flatsedge (cyperus) genus is missing, save one species. it may be OK for those having only vague, casual, interest in wild plants, but it is of limited use for all the rest of us having interest in Botany.

Cool app, needs updates and more species
The general layout of the app appears to be derived from iBird, so it's pretty good. I like the modular design of the Audubon apps: add birds, trees, mammals, etc. The images are mostly decent. Some are excellent. For the flower search and browse functions, the general shape option confounds flower shape and inflorescence shape. For example, every elongated cluster must consist of radially or bilaterally symmetric flowers. But what the app REALLY needs is the ability to choose between scientific and common names for the browse functions. I don't know 75% of the common family names and, and maybe 50% of the common species names. Finally, the 2800 or so species they choose seems a little scant, considering the diversity of wildflowers in North America.

Audubon Wildflowers V1.1
A wonderful, albeit not complete application. Easy to use, full of great information and definitely worth supporting by purchase even at $9.99. Much easier to use than a field book and lighter to carry as well. I'm very pleased with this App.

Nature to a new level
I bought this app for the guide. But what I discovered was amazing. It is a real pleasure to see users sharing their discoveries. I can't wait to find some treasures myself and share them.

Audubon Wildflowers, and Trees; Good Start But...
It's wonderful to have this type of resource on your person while walking and observing. As previously stated, the pictures are too small to really be able to 'see' what each tree or flower looks like, close up. Maybe a distance photo as well as a closeup of each tree/ wildflower would be helpful. Also, there must be an easier way to ID a tree or a flower! I have a different company's bird book and the ID proccess seems easier than Audubon's approach.
