Terribly inaccurate!
If you are thinking you can use this to identify in the wild, .....Uh ...... Wrongo! App has an advanced search feature that lets you click on leaf type, shape, texture, flower type & color, bark type & texture, etc. which could be used, one would think, to make id ultra fast and precise. Well if it worked it would be great, but it doesn't. Seems if you try to pick more than two features of a tree, it will say "unknown". You must go through 20-100 different trees manually, if you want to find out exactly which tree you have. Overpriced as well. Don't go by "itunes top picks" either. Thats the only reason I picked this one over the others, and was very disappointed.

County ranger
Save your money. Im a forest ranger with a BS in forestry and this is the sorriest excuse for a tree id application you could find. The pictures are terrible and some species only have one pic. Terrible. An absolute disappointment.

Tons of technical issues and really not well put together. If anyone else was as disappointed as I was try Leafsnap. It use identification software to actually identify the tree for you!

Keep the improvements coming. Audubon changed to HD and did not require an additional payment.
