Very disappointed
I used to love this app, and now it's essentially useless. I also lost my sightings and lists in the update. After emailing tech support, they were restored 2 days later, but utilizing these features now in the field are very cumbersome and not worth the effort. The app is very unstable and regularly freezes up and crashes. If I want to social network, I'll use Facebook or Twitter. I hate NatureShare, and never before have I more desired the ability to un-update an app. Please give us our reliable Audobon Field Guide back. Update... For all those people commenting on the inability to edit or delete a sighting, I've discovered how to do this. You have to log in to the NatureShare website on a regular desktop computer and edit them from there. Lame.

Ever get the feeling you've been cheated
APP DOES NOT WORK AT ALL ON IPAD 2, AVOID. 1. When i open the app, nothing happens, blank lists, no images, no content at all. 2. Search function does nothing. 3. Followed the FAQ and still no change. 4. Advanced search crashes app. I wish I could have my $10 back so i could just buy a book. AVOID.

Hate the update!
Loved the old "Find Birds with eBird" feature, and field guide was more than adequate. But I hate the update. I HATE NatureShare. I have to log in just to use the eBird feature?? It wants to post to my Facebook page?? I have to create new online accounts?? No thanks! I used to encourage my friends to get this app - now that it is an invasive, annoying, time-sucking app I will warn them away. Unless you can turn off NatureShare or opt out, I will un-install this app - what a waste of money.

Update needs work
Loved the earlier version. The update no longer allows the posting of sightings when offline. This is a major problem for a nature app--when in the wild, you rarely have good cell data service) In addition, you can no longer edit old sightings. I was about to buy other Audubon apps, for Florida (for wildflowers and trees mainly) but until this new buggy app gets fixed, I'm not going to waste my money. I recommend that anyone stay away from this app until the issues are resolved.

Terrible since update
I have used the old version for quite a while and enjoyed it. The update has destroyed the usefulness of this app. Read the other reviews and avoid this app. There are much better birding apps available. This now is terrible, terrible app. What were they thinking?

What happened to this app?!?!?
I have experienced the same anomalies with this app as other reviewers. My sightings are there one day then gone the next. I also can't edit my sightings, so if I accidentally mistake a bird for some other species, which is not unusual for a birder to do, I'm stuck with it as one of my sightings. I also can't figure out how to start a life list. Don't the developers test these apps before they go live? Stay away from this app until you start reading some positive reviews. And for those of you with the same issues, write a review ASAP, they'll only fix it when their ratings start to go down.
