This used to be great until they recently decided you have to sign in to maintain your lists. Two problems there; 1st I'm not always in contact with 3g most of the time because we're very rural (and because I'm BIRDWATCHING!), 2nd I'll be darned if I can remember my user name or password, and there is no help here. So, my lists are incomplete, and getting further behind every day.

The best
This is the best of the bird ID apps. The pictures are good, and include field marks. Most important to me, it has multiple sound recordings for each bird. A real help when you're hearing a variant or 'dialect' call or song.

Account Problem
When I open my account settings, it shows my location as Woodstock. When I try to change it, nothing happens. Ironically, my home location is in Washington State, and my current location is Rodeo, NM.

Very good
A generally well done app. Good search features, helpful descriptions (more info would be nice), fantastic pictures, multiple clear audio song samples for each bird. Everything I could ask for short of video segments in a moderately priced package that doesn't crash.

Favorite App!
This is by far my favorite app. It does exactly what you would want in a bird guide. I love that it has photos of birds in male, female, and juvenile. I love the bird calls. And the different ways you can search-by size, color, location, season, etc. - is exactly what you need to identify a bird. If you want an app to be your birding guide, this is it!
