Best app for Birds
This app is the best by far. Rarely do you get good customer service from apps but the people who run this app are the most helpful. I love looking for birds and as I travel I will be looking forward to keeping all of my sighting on hand so I can go back and look at them and remember what good times I have had. I would recommend this app to everyone and have already talked half of my family into buying it. It is definitely worth the price.

Everyone in my family uses my phone and this app to identify the birds we see. It's great!

Audubon Birds from Green Mountain
Awesome app and with every update it just keeps getting better. I like the multiple photos, the song recordings and the similar species feature as well as the life list feature and the integration with ebird.

The ONLY bird guide you will ever need. A must!
If you are a beginner, such as myself, or a seasoned birder, not such as myself, yet... Then this is for you! My goodness if you want to see a rare bird nearby, BAM it's provided for you, with DIRECTIONS! I have an iPad, and was so thrilled to see that once I bought this on my iPad, it went straight to my iPhone 4S, too!! You do NOT need wifi! Such a blessing, because who has it out in the field?? You can keep track of your sightings, and if you're wrong with an ID, incredibly nice birders will help you! You get the picture, and 99% of the time, many, male female juvenile, etc... Plus their song, and birds that look like them, to help you make a positive ID. I find myself getting out of my car and walking with my SLR and telephoto to catch a bird that I just happened to see out of the corner of my eye. I got another camera for tight shots, binoculars, and my first spotting scope! Yeah, maybe I'm not just a beginner anymore. Remember birding is strictly on the honor code, so be honest!!!
