Neat app but advanced search needs a lot of improvement
This is a great app, and I've learned a lot about birds. The extensive bird calls are very helpful in identifying a bird. However, the advanced search does not bring about the results that I set in my search criteria. For example, if I am looking for July birds in Texas with a rising bird call, the search result will give me MANY birds that do not fit even one of the search criteria. It can be interesting to learn about birds in general but it's too time-consuming to identify the birds in my back-yard. An improvement in this search feature would be much appreciated.

iBird convert
I've switched to this app as my main birding app mainly because it identifies the field marks and has photos rather than portraits. Would like to a more advanced tool for logging sightings and some better separation between the main toolbar and the page toolbar, but other than that this is a fantastic app!

Have it on my Kindle Fire & now on my iPad. Great app on both platforms, very handy when out hiking

Love it!
As a new birder, i find that this has quickly become my go-to app for all things winged! Thanks for a truly helpful app!

Audubon bird book
Wonderful if you know jargon for bird descriptions and/or can make a good guess the category of a sighted bird. The standard checklist required info I was unable to view & lacked such an obvious, yet relatively uncommon, behavior as generally moving upside down on my feeder. I guessed it might be a Nuthatch, but the list of bird names was absent that name. This is a common bird! I typed the name into the search option, and THEN Audubon found it. So far, this app is fun for playing bird songs of birds I already know. It is no worse than than iBird - and no better. A guideBOOK is still my best bet. I am disappointed - love long walks & hoped for a comprehensive light-weight companion.
