Brutally hard but addictive, and wall climbers will love it.
Did you know frog feet can only grip where there's a splash mark? Neither did I, but limiting your froggy feet to the wet drops on a leaf creates in a series of nasty climbing problems for you. Twist and contort your way from foothold to foothold until you maneuver into a winning position and snatch up a very abiding and patient fly. The graphics are eye-catching with a nice variety of colorful frog species and environments. Oddly enough, the puzzles are not arranged in order of difficulty but you can do them in any order you please. Each puzzle displays the minimum possible moves as "par", rewarding you with a special flower color if you achieve it. Unfortunately there's a nasty bug that occasionally causes it to forget that your most recent score was perfect rather than pedestrian, forcing you to do it again until it recognizes your achievement. No big deal, but very annoying. The game plays very much like a climbing wall problem where you're trying to figure out which limbs go on which grips and in what order (except that you don't have that time pressure of tiring arms and legs). Hold down a foot and a spotlight will shine on every grip within reach of that foot. Touch the question mark in the upper left (repeatedly, if necessary) to get good intermediate positions to aim for. The key is to advance your inflexible front feet by twisting about your long and rubbery hind legs until your short little "arms" can make it to the next handhold. Twister, anyone?

Simple yet delightfully different
I have played probably close to 700 games on my iPod and iPad, and this is one of the most unique games of them all. From reading the description and looking at the screenshots, I thought it seemed like a pointless game since all you do is move a frog around. However, I quickly found out that it's not quite that simple. The first few levels start out easy enough, but eventually you are left scratching your head and undoing moves to try a different route since the frog can only step in certain places. So you redo some moves and find out that what you thought would get the frog to the fly isn't working this second time either, and then you wonder how such a simple game can be so challenging. The graphics and music do change periodically, so you're not stuck looking at the same scenes or listening to the same music. The frogs eventually change, but I have yet to see mine do that (I'm at level 13 currently). Presumably that happens at a higher level. I recommend this game if you're looking for a simple yet challening and different puzzle. Chances are you haven't played anything like this before, and unless you have no sense of humor whatsoever you'll inevitably laugh when you stretch the frogs legs trying to get him to move to a location where he can't move.

Terrible! Learn from my mistake. Not even the beauty of the iPad can help this app. Golf with a frog? Please.

Unskippable "How To Play" Video
I dunno how many times I've seen the "How To Play" video, yet the developer has made it unskippable. Ever thought that I MAY have played the game before?
