Blacked out screen
Updated May 6 and now see only a black screen. Tried to reinstall, same thing. A fix in the works?

I like the old one better, even though it wasn't great.

Very disappointed. The app feels very elementary, especially coming from such a large news source. The design is not fluid and appears to have been put together without much thought. The original version was not that great of an app, but better than this version. Go back to the drawing board and start from scratch.

New AJC Digest App
Just awful. Wish I had the old one back even though it wasn't all that great. Do NOT upgrade. Very little news squeezed between Weekly Ads which I never read. And the news isn't current so I use CNN and ESPN apps instead. Going back to mobile version of AJC and ditching this app.

A Step Back
I'm not sure how this is really an upgrade. I'm willing to see how the app improves but I think it's tougher now to find specific content. For instance, why take away the ability to navigate to specific sports teams in that section? Just seems like a short-sighted decision. Either improve the navigation relating to specific subpages, or make your next "upgrade" be a simple roll-back to the previous version.

2007 called and would like their app back! I have to say for a major newspaper this is an epic failure! Just plan awful! I've deleted the app and have returned to the mobile version!
