Ehhh...
Update is crap. Lost the smoothing aspect to the pen tool. Also there is a delay when drawing (ink cant catch the pens movement quick enough). Bring back the smoothing and take away the delay and this app is solid.

Nice App
I am a new user of this app and I must say, I am really impressed with the tools it provides me. The layer capability is just great. Perhaps the old versions were far better, but for a casual user like me, I am quite satisfied with what this app has to offer.

I think it's great
And here I am specifically signing on to say how much I like the update. I wasn't fond of having my lines move around and "smooth" themselves after I'd made them, though I'd gotten used to it. I have used the program a lot and been impressed with it again and again. Every time I've thought I've found a limitation, and thought, "well that's why this is the $9.99 version of Adobe illustration software. . . " every time it's turned out that I just needed to try a little harder, or read some instructions. I can see where the company is smart to do this, because it's probably turning me into a loyal Adobe user. The only thing I would want might be some more options about exporting files. Other than that I think it's just great. It has an appearance of simplicity, but as you use it more and more features are revealed. It makes most of the other iPad drawing apps I've tried look like toys. I don't even want to think about how many hours I sat working on it, designing a logo for someone recently. If I don't have complaints with it after that exhausting, shoulder-aching experience, it must be pretty darn good.

Junk
This used to be moderately decent for my purposes (graphic design), though there have always been FAR better apps for illustration and design (iDraw). Now I have absolutely no use for it. Without line smoothing, I might as well just use my go-to illustration app. I'm not sure who they think will like the app this way. Novice users won't appreciate the vector aspect of it, so they will ultimately switch to one of the many feature-rich art apps. Pros will find the features of this app severely limited.
