No vector editing
This app may be "vector based" but you cannot edit your vectors in the app. You have to import them to Illustrator. Big disappointment as I was looking for an iPad app that would let me edit my lines on the iPad. Unless you are buying this as a companion to Illustrator, you can save a lot of money buying other very similar apps.

Great app, but needs improvement
I really like the simplicity of this app, but it's a little to simple. Not enough options. 1. There are no basic shapes 2. No live mirror, but you can flip a duplicate layer. 3. No easy way to undo. You have to click the button instead of a simple gustier. 4. Can't rename layers And I'm sure the could be more, but for now that is good. I still really like the app for quick ideas. I love the auto smooth feature (just no way to turn it off or on - it's always on).

Need Folders
My favorite app for note taking and journaling. Works great and has the right features for me, except with no ability to organize. We need folders! I've tried many others...paid for others...but this is the best. Please, folders. The only way to organize is to send to my computer; there I can organize in any way I wish. But, until I get it off my iPad, there is no solution for that.

Nice, but missing some features
If u are looking for vector software for ur iPad go with TouchDraw. My major issue with Adobe Ideas is that when u save a file as a PDF and open it in illustrator all of the vector lines you created are turned into outlines and they are no longer editable like a standard vector path. TouchDraw PDFs on the other hand open in illustrator just the way you want: vectors maintain their original path, anchor points, and stroke properties etc.. Also TouchDraw has more tools in general and is just better in most regards. I wish I had learned about TouchDraw before I paid 10 bucks for adobe ideas so I'd like to warn you all before you make the same mistake.

Version 2.5
Version 2.5 made me a believer! Awesome. I gave it only a 4 star because it needs improvements. It would be nice to be able to: 1. export as an idea file directly from the app to email it 2. rename the layer names 3. save brush presets

Update compatibility
I love this app, as a graphic designer and a freelance artist I use this constantly for high grade designs and all around digital sketching on the go. I would gladly give this app five stars if/when adobe decides to release an update making this app compatible with the pogo connect pressure sensitive stylus as they have with their photoshop app. Please please please adobe!
