Let us Merge!
Ok Adobe I love you and I love this program, but please, if you are making people pay 9$ for this app you should be adding a few more simple functions! With a limit of ten layers a person should be able to merge so they can keep working past ten! Vectors always have a lot of layers why was this not automatically installed?! So here are some essentials that are missing and would keep me from buying this app again: 1. The ability to merge layers 2. The ability to save it to another format of some kind or another 3. The ability to resize a base image to fit the canvas I seriously have no other complaints with this program, I like that it's so simple it gets the job done. The UI is simple and there is no irritating fluff, I really especially enjoy color collections! But come on adobe, I think I bought this app when it was cheaper than 9$ and now that I realize it is lacking the essential merge ability I sure wouldn't buy it now and I don't recommend it for the moment, hopefully an update will come around with some much needed features but until then I am sticking with three stars! Will update this if Adobe can update for its users!

Good for vector, has room for improvement
This program so far is good but it can be better. its ability to export vector PDF is the biggest plus i think. Color theme palette is cool too. I've read the bad reviews before I bought it and I'm glad I took a chance. The main thing here is the vector ability. I haven't found another app that export vector yet. I could be wrong of course. It is true that they only have one brush. It would be great to have variable thickness to the drawing tool like the latest illustrator. Pressure based maybe? The layer purchase has been taken care of since the complaint by others, which is good because I benefit from them. : ) It is included now. Maybe some kind of rotation function and transformation function in general, scale and such. Right now there is only zoom and of course panning. This app IS a basic app to start your idea on the road so you can continue later. There are many cool apps which I own and use like Paper, SketchPro and Procreate but none are vector focused.

Adobe Ideas = A Solid App
I am not quite sure what the low rating folks were looking for…or their skill level, for that matter. This app has quickly become a necessary component in my digital illustration arsenal. And the fact that I can export images into Adobe illustrator via the creative cloud, my methodology has become quicker with a seamless transition from iPad to Mac Book. In future versions, I would love to see custom brushes and a symmetry feature, but for now I'm satisfied. Good job Adobe.

This app looks sophisticated and high end but if you pay the outrageous $9.99, you will find out that this app doesn't even come near to the description. It has only one brush, no set colors, or the ability to save in more than one format. If adobe were to update this app, it would have to be completely reconstructed. The free version of art studio is more complete than this outrageously priced app.

Great App it needs a straight line tool
After you find the right technique the app then becomes a great tool. In the next update if you could add more layers and a straight line tool this app would be awesome.
