Good start, needs work.
Clean design and well organized. Great response time when drawing on the iPad2. Layers should be included in the base price. Badly needs an eyedropper tool and the ability to create swatches/palettes from the draw view. Buy a stylus if you plan on using this heavily.

Like my title.. this app is awesome! It's my favorite drawing app. The zoom in feature let's you get things more precise. And when you do a basic doodle it has a smoothing feature which makes it look so much better its Perfect for your handwriting it will look more like your own writing. I would recommend it highly. Also a nice feature is the color matching tool to create color themes. You can take a photo and pick 5 colors in that shot you want an exact match of to paint with.

I feel so ripped off. I actually bought the layers because I wanted to use the eraser on the photo layer and add text over it. Well you CAN'T use eraser on photo layer and you CAN'T add text!!! Why does there screenshot show text? I want my money back.

Too "cheap" for a few reasons:
1. The app is very limited on features to be sold for $6-$10 2. The so called "in-app" purchase for layers should've already been included into the app since it now has a set premium price point and everyone knows the app is too simple to be purchased at this time while the App Store already has far superior drawing apps like ArtStudio, Brushes and Sketchbook Mobile so expect your sales on Ideas to slow and/or fail in the long run. 3. The app hasn't been updated for months to a years so if you can change the price of a free simple app to full charged software, then why not update the application with something new as well for God's sake. Don't be such a cheapskate Adobe. This app shows some promising for it's future. Don't take us (your loyal consumers) and your products for granted and at least throw a bone once in a while. Since it's a paid app, include the layers function and add any other addition features that are necessary for the app like fill bucket, path tools, gradient fill and more.

Limited, far too expensive
This app basically does one thing, and not particularly well - let you sketch in vector format. Many things you'd expect from a basic art app are not here and you'll be frustrated with the limitations after a short time. For example, you can't move your illustrations around on the canvas after they're painted! You have to erase and redraw it. Inkpad destroys this app and it's a lot cheaper! In fact I don't think I've ever felt more ripped off with an app purchase than I did after buying this app with the layers addon for 11 bucks total, and then realizing Inkpad is far better at only 3 bucks. Please learn from my mistake!
