Amazing… but
Amazing sketching app, I just wish it had an export feature, please work on that :)

3 stars why
Basic thing this app is missing is the ability to pick a color. I am doing some basic illustrations from hand drawn drawings that my grandchildren did and I cannot consistently use the same color. Are you crazy? And you have a user say he did a complete promo on 6 hours on a plane trio? Impossible. It does not even have the ability to do straight lines. Both of this, color picker and straight lines are BASIC features one would expect from Adobe, but there missing. How about the capability of naming the layers? The tiny thumbnails dont allow me to see where i am at. Some export formats, please? Though I paid for layers, I wonder how much you are going to ask me for additional basic functionalities, to which I will say no, of course. Aside from these basic missing features, it does what any other simple drawing app does, layers added.

A waste. I want my $7 back. Seriously.
Only one photo layer. REALLY??? Useless app. Adobe should be shot. I have tons of free kiddie photo draw apps that are more sophisticated than this. Toolbar is ridiculously huge and not adjustable. Leaves a sliver of space to work in. I don't understand how the sample pics were done ... I cannot find a font tool, and yet a few of them show fonts. There seem to be pattern & image imports layered over each other ... How is this done. Doesn't even seem to rotate, do I can't work in landscape. Total gyp.

Controls and menus are its downfall (at least on iPhone and iPod)
This review applies to use on an iPhone or iPod Touch, as I don't know how the screen real estate plays out on the iPad. The program works fine, but the UI is slowing and unintuitive. The drawing mode is severely hampered if you plan to change colors, sizes, tools or erase often because the menu will take up a third of the screen.

Useful but...
I can say that this app is really easy to use but there are a few things I'd like to see added in a future update. READ THIS ADOBE!!! I HAVE SOME REQUESTS!!! First off, I would love a paint can. You know the one that fills in a space with a specific color. This would be great Because it takes hours to fill a space manually and make it look good using a brush. Next thing I'd love to see is a line cutter. It's the one where if there are two intersecting lines, and if you tap one of them it disappears down to the intersection. So instead of four lines branching from one point, you have three lines branching from one point. This would also help with erasing, as erasing down to the line can make the line look indented Except when looking at from a distance. Please add these tools in future updates, because I love to edit photos and I would gladly pay a little extra money for an add on like this. I have purchased layers and it is very helpful. Not to mention I'm probably not the only one who wants these kind of features. Thanks

Work in Progress
The freedom to design and creat on a tablet is slowly developing, Adobe ideas is getting there but has not quite captured the true potential of tablet design. Instead of focusing on one app that elegantly works, Adobe seems to have put together a variety of teams to make all sorts of mildly useful apps. A color selection tool and palette creator (not just a theming tool) would be great additions.
