Not bad, not good...yet
*updated for newest version* Update: from what I'm reading, people are saying the handling is still awful, I thought it was marginally improved and have been doing better after the update which gained them a half a star. The British cars update also shows that they are willing to expand the lineup even though the cars they added are awful in real life, it's an improvement, another half star I haven't had any issues with crashing on the newest ipad... Knock on wood Original review: *** This game has the potential to be everything Real Racing 3 should have been. It is obviously still early and it's a little buggy, the game crashes whenever a push notification from another app comes up. I will edit this when the bug is fixed. The gameplay is okay, the driver assists are awful and most players will be much better off without them, but the races are good once you get used to the controls. The steering sensitivity is a little off, it feels just a little bit behind for some reason but its not debilitating. Some of the events feel a little hokey but again they're not bad. The graphics aren't the worst though they're a little buggy as well, damage to the front of my 240z made the hood (bonnet) go inside the engine but again I will edit my review when the bugs are fixed. There aren't a whole lot of makes of cars in the game but I'm sure they will license more when they can. Overall the game is worth the purchase price and not a penny more...right now Here's why you should buy this game: It is going to get better. Once the bugs get worked out, and they fix the controls, once there are more manufacturers, and generally improve the game with updates, it is going to be fantastic. 2k, while they do offer premium in app benefits, they don't nickel and dime you and make it impossible to win like EA does. EA dropped the ball with Real Racing, they had something awesome and they blew it, hopefully 2k will learn from EA's mistake and use their community to improve the game, not use it to find out how to charge you more. TL;DR? Buy it, but don't expect to be blown away

Still feels unfinished.
The update made some improvements to handling but this game is still frustrating to play. The menus are so hideously low resolution and cluttered. There are no sound effects or music in the game menus and it feels really weird. The graphics are okay but nowhere near the level of RR3 or Asphalt. It's not even on the level of RR2. I also really hate the weird stars and coins currency. It feels like a kids game when I when "stars" for things. Can't I just win credits or in game cash? I just can't get into no matter how much I try. I want to like this game but I just don't.
